WHAT IS BREATHWORK

 

Breathwork is a healing modality, where you experience a powerful spiritual transformation, a high vibration and a deep purification on every level. This breathing practice comes from ancient yoga traditions and is based on pranayama, which means ‘the practice of breath regulation’.

The Breathwork part is more yang, activating, energizing and giving where as the integrative relaxation part is yin, soothing, relieving and receiving.

In this active meditation technique you reconnect with your intuition, your creativity and your inner wisdom. It is a deep, beautiful journey back to your true authentic self. With the support of the breath the mind relaxes, you connect with your body, you learn how to listen with a still heart and a present open soul. It allows you to release tension, blockages, strong emotions and stories that keep you small and limited.

At the core, Breathwork is a stress-reduction technique that brings physical relaxation and peace of mind. It is one of the most powerful tools we have to activate the vagus nerve and improve the brain and mind-body connection.

It is often the feeling of freedom and liberation from thoughts, and the flooding of love and gratitude that brings us back to the Breathwork practice again and again.
